Happy Everything Card

by | March 1st, 2018 | 2

Hi there friends! Crystal Thompson here with my first post as part of the design team for ClearSnap, the makers of Colorbox. For this I am using some Colorbox products and Winnie and Walter In A Word: Happy.

For this card, I have a full pictorial for you. I hope you enjoy!

First, I assembled my products:

Then I placed my stencil over my pre-cut card base, and blended the ink pad directly on to the stencil.

Because the Paintbox shades are already in order, I simply followed the way the colors move on to the next shade.

I then removed the stencil and washed promptly.

Now, it’s time to stamp the word Happy from Winnie & Walter’s In A Word: Happy.

For this I am using Colorbox Metallic Black Ink.

Once the Happy was set, I sprayed some Smooch Spritz inside the ClearSnap Color Catcher to give it a bit of dimension

Now, I am going to make a banner with the sentiment “everything” to add below the “happy”

I heat embossed ColorBox Embossing Powder in Opalecent Clear, on black card stock.

Now, it’s time to assemble the card! I added double sided foam to the back of the card panel.

Then placed over the card base.

Using foam adhesive, I added the banner I heat embossed off centered from the card, and trimmed the excess.

That completed my card. I really loved the Black Metallic ink on this card, as the “happy” does not take away from the stenciled stars.

I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you so much for joining me.
