Hi friends! I’m sharing a My First ColorBox® project today that was fun for the whole family. My husband and kids joined me in my craft room to create Mother’s Day cards. After gathering the necessary supplies for them, I stepped back and enjoyed watching them work together.

My First ColorBox® Mother's Day Cards by Dad and Kids

I really love crafting with kids. Children are not encumbered by “rules” and they really enjoy the creative process. Their use of pattern and color is definitely fearless. This fast-paced card making session was super fun.

My First ColorBox® Stamped Backgrounds For Cards

Step 1: First, use My First ColorBox® Ink with the Mini Stamps to stamp onto white cardstock. Use several colors of ink. Mix and match stamps from different sets to add a fun variety of images to the card.

My First ColorBox® ink pads contain fast-drying, kid-friendly, washable ink. Clearsnap offers over 20 mini stamp sets in a fun variety of themes. You’re sure to find the colors and images that are right for your project!

My First ColorBox® Mini Marker Sentiments

Step 2: Next, use My First ColorBox® Mini Markers to write sentiments on the die-cut circles. The hand-written sentiments on these cards make them extra special! Then, embellish! Attach a ribbon bow to each sentiment round. Buttons or stickers would also work great.

My First ColorBox® Mother's Day Card Assembly

Step 3: Finally, assemble the card. Center the stamped cardstock onto a solid colored cardstock card base. Attach the hand-written sentiment spot to the front of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! We would love to see how you craft with kids! Share your crafts with us on the Clearsnap Facebook Page or in the I Heart Clearsnap Facebook Group!
