Hi Everybody! My name is Vishu Reberholt a Design Team Member for Ann Butler Designs. The Ann Butler Design team is taking over the blog this week so be prepared to get inspired. In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create an Art Screen Embossed Background Card.
First, I dry embossed the cardstock using colorbox art screen. I used a spellbinders grand calibur (sandwich used: base plate, embossing pad, cardstock, art screen, embossing plate).
Using the colorbox daubers and crafter’s ink color the embossed stars with different colored inks depending upon your color theme.
Now Layer the background cardstock to a 4.25 X 5.5 inch white card base.
Finally, I attached the die cuts, stamped sentiment and rhinestones to create this fun and easy art screen embossed background card.
This was quick and easy card and loved the way it turned out. With Christmas around the corner this is a fun way to create interesting cards for you friends and family. Hope you will try this tutorial and create your own art screen embossed background cards.
