Hi there, it’s Katy Leitch here with a project for the Susan K. Weckesser Creative Team featuring her rather yummy Color Pop Inks co-branded with Clearsnap. These are really gorgeously bright inkpads that are a pleasure to use. But what do I like best about them? They include a white inkpad (called Snow) that really WORKS! It’s the best white ink pad and awesome!
So I wanted to showcase this rather nice “best white ink pad” and I love the look of white and kraft together. I think these colours create a really soft vintage look, perfect paired with Susan’s lovely rose stamp from the In My Garden set.
Here’s how I created this card:
- Cut a panel of kraft card and stamp all over with the rose in Snow ink. Leave to dry well- ideally for a few hours. This is a thick rich ink so it does take a little time to dry, but it’s worth it for that proper white stamping! Also ink around the edge of the panel with the Snow inkpad.
- Stamp the rose again onto another piece of craft card in Kiss ink. Lightly colour with soft pencils in pale pink and white. Stamp the leaves in Fresh and lightly colour with pale green pencil.
- Stamp #yougogirl (Grunge Fun set) onto a strip of card with Kiss ink and edge in Snow ink.
- Assemble the leaves, flower and sentiment onto the stamped panel before matting onto a kraft card blank.
