If you like to make your holiday and DIY Christmas cards, you know it’s best to start early as you generally need to make a bunch. I love working with letters so I thought this year’s card would be Ho Ho Ho and I would make the “O” out of the Clearsnap snowflake rubber stamp.
The new Colorbox Petal Point in Winterscape color palette is perfect pigment ink for the snowflakes.
These accordion DIY Christmas cards are easy and quick to make.
First up I stamped snowflakes all over white paper in a random pattern in all the colors.
I then embossed them with clear embossing powder.
I die cut the “H”s out of the pretty snowflake pattern paper.
I stamped the snowflakes by placing the rubber stamp on the center of the Petal Point ink pad so they would be all the colors. I then embossed and cut them out.
The background piece of blue card stock is cut 3 inches high by 16.5 inches long. I scored the strip of paper at 5.5 inches from each end to make 3 equal sections.
All that’s left to do is glue on the “H”s and snowflakes in each section.
For a final touch I tied a bow with white sparkly yarn to keep the accordion fold card closed.
