Hello everyone, Lynne Mizera here today from the Susan K. Weckesser creative team happy to be sharing with you a Hawaii scrapbook page I created using stamps and inks, a bit of gel pen and a few foam pop dots.
I wanted to capture both the fear and the joy of this moment as I overcame my crazy fear of heights to go para-sailing in Hawaii so I used every color of the Susan K. Weckesser mini POP inks and two sets of her co branded stamps; “Celebration of Simple” and “Journal Doodles With A Heart”. The vibrant colors of the Colorbox mini Pop inks gave this layout the happy energy I was striving for and they coordinated perfectly with the Susan K. Weckesser Colorburst card stock.
I stamped all my images on kraft cardstock, cut them out and used gel pen to highlight some of the details on the Journal Doodles stamps. I inked edges using the Mystery Color POP mini ink and mounted my images using foam pop dots to create some dimension.
And finally I hid my journaling behind this photo because I think the pictures tell the story quite well, don’t you? There was one particular moment when I was terrified out of my wits and of course THAT is when they snapped the photo!
Thank you for sharing my page with me today – I hope you enjoyed the adventure. And be sure to pop on over to the My Sweet Earth blog to see more of the Susan K. Weckesser creative team or to My Blog to see more of me!
