How to get started stamping in your planner:

Stamping in planners is a really easy way to use your papercrafting supplies in a new way; helping you stay organized! Clearsnap just released “skinny” wood mount stamps that measure 1.25″ x 2″, making them a perfect size for using in planners and cards alike.

Choose pigment ink to get bold color when stamping in your planner. It’s a good idea to heat set the ink after stamping to prevent smudging as pigment ink can have a prolonged drying time on some papers.

See all of the new skinny stamps and pigment ink pads in our summer release here: Clearsnap 2016 Summer Release

Start by inking up the Clearsnap Skinny Wood Mount Stamp – Candle with the Colorbox 3-Color Ink Pad – Escape in teal blue and stamping the planner page. Ink again using the darker blue section of the Escape ink pad and stamp the planner page.

Then ink up the Clearsnap Skinny Wood Mount Stamp – Gift with the silver ink from the Colorbox PetalPoint Pigment Ink Pad – Home.

Stamp onto the planner page.

The great thing about the Colorbox 3-Color Ink Pad are the 3 colors!!  You can create all sorts of color effects.

Adding two-tone color images is easy with Clearsnap’s newest 3-Color Ink Pads.

Press a stamp into the lighter color on the 3-Color Ink Pad first.  Then touch the edge of the stamp with a darker color by rocking and rolling the image on the darker ink.

Stamp the image on the planner page.

To get a variegated or ombre effect, stamp the sentiment stamp across the stamp pad so that all of the colors are on the stamp.

Stamp the image on the planner page.

Once you complete all of your stamping, the planner is ready for you to write down all of your work for the week.

Hi Kymona ~ I always like the look of ombre stamping. There’s just something so warm and fun about it, you know? I don’t have any of the Color Box new pads or the petal inks that have multiple shades of the same color. Guess I better get it together and go shopping!! Love what you’re doing with them. ~HUGS~
