Hi friends! Dana here with you today sharing some tips and techniques for journaling on the go with ColorBox® Queues. I am happy to report that I have kept up with the weekly journal that I started at the beginning of the year and I owe some of my success to the convenience of ColorBox® Queues. To see how I used ColorBox® Pigment Ink with a water brush and stamps at the beginning of my journal, follow this link.
Queues are a group of 6 stacked Cat’s Eye® inkpads in a themed hue that are designed for hand-held, direct-to-paper techniques. The Queue configuration is not only a space-saver, but an affordable way to grow your ink collection. A selection of ColorBox® Queues are available in all of the Clearsnap ink formulas!
The Cat’s Eye® shape of these inkpads are super fun to work with! I pressed the inkpads directly onto my journal page, then stamped numbers in the center of each colored shape to add order to my list.
ColorBox® Queues also work great with Clearsnap Wood Block Stamps! Stamped designs are a great way to add personality to your journal. Designer Tip: If your favorite stamp designs happen to be wood-mounted and bulky, stamp up the pages of your journal when you have more time and pack a pen for journaling outside of the studio. I chose the new Alligator and Bicycle stamps which were great journaling prompts for me.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to venture outside of your studio with a small bundle of art supplies. We’d love to see how you incorporate Clearsnap ink in your journals and planners. Share your work in the I Heart Clearsnap Facebook group!
