Hello Clearsnap fans! Today I have made this Butterfly Wall Décor which is inspired by the March Inspiration Color Board. I found the paper mache butterfly in the bargain bin at my local discount retail store. Adding color to butterfly was quick and easy using ColorBox® Pigment Inks.
Butterfly Wall Décor Supply List:
- Color Box® Teresa Collins Pigment Ink, Passion Pink
- ColorBox® Pigment, Chamomile, Turtle, Caliente
- ColorBox PaintBox®, Merry ( dark & light blue)
- ColorBox® Art Daubers
- White Craft Paint
- Glitter Paint
- Paper Mache Butterfly
- Embossing Gun
I began this project by painting the paper mache butterfly with white craft paint. Next I used ColorBox® Art Daubers and the dark blue ink from the ColorBox PaintBox® to color the outer lower wings. Add the Teresa Collins Passion Pink to the lower inner wings.
Continue to add the inks to color the butterfly as shown in the final picture. Use an embossing gun to heat set the pigment inks. Next paint the entire butterfly with glitter paint to add a little sparkle. Punch a hole in the back, to hang the finished butterfly on the wall.
Using ColorBox® Pigment Inks is an easy way to add color to this project. With so many color inks to choose from it will be hard choosing which colors to use in your next projects. Which ones will you choose?
