Hello Clearsnap fans!  Lisa Marie Jimenez here today, to show you how to make this Travel Card using Pearl Rain.  I just love how this card turned out, it is one of the favorites that I have made.  Best part is was easy to do!  Wouldn’t this card be perfect to give to someone who is going away on a trip to Paris?

Supplies to make this Travel Card:

How I made this card:

Cut the map paper to fit the front of the card and attach with glue.   Place the card inside of the Color Catcher® and spray the map paper with the Pearl Rain.

Use an embossing gun to dry the spray.  As the Pearl Rain is drying you will start to see pearl effect appear.

Distress the paper tag by adding Mint Chalk Ink with an Art Dauber.  Add Pumpkin Spice Ink to give the tag highlights.  Next add an aging effect to the tag by darkening the edges with the Fawn Chalk Ink.

Cut the green scrapbook paper to a size slightly larger than the tag.  Glue the tag onto the green paper.  Then glue to the center of the card.

Stamp the Eiffel Tower Rubber Stamp onto the yellow paper with the TopBoss® Embossing Ink.  Next pour the Copper Embossing Powder over the top, turn over to remove excess.  Heat the embossing power until it melts.   Cut out the image and use the 3-D foam squares to adhere to the center of the tag.

DIY Embossing

Use Teresa Collins Black Loft Ink to stamp the Ticket shaped “Wish you were here” stamp onto a piece of cream card stock.  Add an aging effect to the ticket by adding Fawn Ink to the paper using an art dauber. Cut the ticket out and adhere to card with 3-D foam squares.   Finish the card by adding a few travel stickers to the card.

The Pearl Rain adds gleam to the map paper, which makes this card stand out.  This card is easily customized to any travel destination by changing the theme of the stickers and center stamp.  Pearl Rain is easy to use and adds shimmer to paper without overpowering the project.  What project will you use Pearl Rain on?
