Hello Clearsnap fans! Lisa Marie here today, to show you how to make this pretty Craft Show Sign using Glass Graffiti. I always need table signs for my booth when I am doing craft shows. Although chalkboard signs are easy to write a message on, I have grown tired of seeing them and I want something pretty that matches my booth décor. Using Glass Graffiti lets me write my message on glass and still be able to change it as needed.
- ColorBox® Glass Graffiti – Black, White
- Picture Frame
- Spray Paint – White
- Sandpaper – Fine Grit
- Paintbrush – Small
How I made this Craft Show Sign:
Paint the frame with the white spray paint. I started with a dark color as this is the color I want to show through when I distress the frame.
Use light grit sandpaper to distress the frame, to allow some of the metal to show through the paint.
Clean the glass to remove all traces of dirt and fingerprints. Shake the bottle of black Glass Graffiti. The bottle has a sponge applicator in order to write directly onto the glass, but in this case the applicator is too large for this application. Push the sponge applicator onto a small disposable plastic bag. This will allow the ink to fill the sponge. Turn the bottle right side up, and then dab the paintbrush on the sponge applicator. Write out your message on the glass using the paint brush. Next, use the white Glass Graffiti to add accents to your message. Should you make a mistake or not like your lettering, simply wipe away the Graffiti with a wet paper towel.
Cut the paper to fit inside the frame and assemble the frame. You now have a stylish sign for your craft show table.
This sign could also be used for a party or wedding to welcome guest or anywhere you need to have a pretty sign. Glass Graffiti comes in many colors, which one will you use to create your custom sign?
