Stamped Fabric Fall Wall Art

Hi friends! Dana Tatar here today sharing how I created a stamped fabric Fall wall hanging for my home. The ColorBox® Background Basics by Ann Butler range of quilt-themed stamps helped me to create a beautiful homespun background for my project in no time at all! This small 4-inch piece of art was quick and easy to put together with Clearsnap® inks and stamps and a few basic supplies.

Step 1: Gather your favorite colors of Clearsnap® Craft ink, a 4″ Embroidery Hoop & Frame, a Fall themed Stamp Set, Muslin, Burlap Ribbon, Cardstock and a pair of scissors.

Step 2: Create a sentiment mask by stamping a sentiment onto a piece of cardstock and cutting it out. Leave a small border around the stamped text.

Step 3: Place the sentiment mask onto the center of a piece of muslin slightly larger than the embroidery hoop. Apply Beach Blends ink to the Diamonds 1 Background Basics Stamp and stamp the pattern onto the muslin. Repeat until the surface of the muslin is covered.

Step 4: Remove the sentiment mask from the muslin. Apply Colorbox® Crafter’s Desert Sand Ink to the sentiment stamp and stamp the sentiment onto the blank space in the center of the muslin. Heat set the ink.

Step 5: Insert the muslin into the embroidery hoop frame. Trim the extra fabric from the frame.

Step 6: Cut a piece of burlap ribbon to length. Mist the burlap ribbon with Pumpkin Pie Spritzers. Once dry, tie the ribbon into a bow and secure to the top of the embroidery hoop.

ColorBox® Craft Ink is perfect for use on fabric to create richly colored projects that last season after season.

We’d love to see how you use our Craft Inks on fabric! Share your work on our facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by today!
