DIY Day of the Dead Earrings with Skeleton Cameos and Marisa Pawelko Surfacez

Day of the Dead is 6 days away! These skeleton cameo earrings are a great last minute accessory. I used the Marisa Pawelko, Modern Surrealist, new ClearSnap Surfacez Ink line to stamp and color these earrings. The ink is brightly colored, dries fast, and adheres well to many surfaces including paper, plastic, and wood. I colored white half pearls with the ink, to create a matching frame for the cameo. The skeleton cameo stamp is from the Hampton Art “Beware” Stamp and Stencil Set. I used a similar construction technique to my Graphic 45 Rare Oddities Hexagon Paper Necklace, so the earrings are lightweight and sturdy. Head over to my website, Crafty Lady Abby, to make your own Marisa Pawelko Day of the Dead Skeleton Cameo Earrings.
