Hi everyone, it’s almost back to school time.  Why not send your daughter back to school in style looking fabulous with something no other girl will have – an upcycled denim clutch!

Steph Ackerman here today using an assortment of ColorBox® products with a denim clutch that your daughter can use to hold all her personal supplies.

  • ColorBox® Pigment Ink by Teresa Collins – Posh White
  • ColorBox® Chalk Ink – Butter
  • ColorBox® Art Dauber
  • ColorBox® Art Screens – Bloom
  • ColorBox® Art Screens by Ann Butler – Lattice
  • Pre-printed denim clutch
  • Prima Flowers
  • Ribbon
  • Bling

Using Posh White Ink and the Bloom Art Screen, ink up 2 opposite corners of the clutch.  To avoid inking over the preprinted words, place the center of the Art Screen in each corner.

Use the Lattice Art Screen with Posh White Ink to decorate the back of the clutch just for fun.  Ink the Art Screen randomly – full coverage is not necessary (unless you want to).

To decorate – just pull assorted items from your stash and have fun.

I added a strip of funky ribbon across the top, some bling in one corner and flowers in the other corner.  To coordinate with the ribbon, I inked the flowers with Butter Chalk Ink.

Now it’s ready for that special girl to take to school feeling fabulous.
