I’ve done it, and I’m sure you did too-decorated a boring notebook or book cover for school with I love you’s, doodles etc.! Writing on notebooks was kind of “the” thing to do when I was in high school eons ago. So, for my elementary kiddos, I thought I would cover their notebooks with some colorful inspiration! I’ve used a set of My First ColorBox® Mini Stamps and ColorBox® 6-Color Ink Pads to jazz up this boring composition notebook with just a few steps!
The ColorBox® 6-Color Pigment Ink makes it super easy to include several colors together with little effort; the “Ballons” palette was the perfect fit for the bright and colorful combos I wanted! I simply alternated colors and direction of the pencils to create a background that would cover half of the notebook; the pigment ink takes a little longer to dry, therefore, I heat set the background. I adhered the papers to the front cover of the notebook, added ribbon and a label and this notebook was complete! There’s still room to doodle if they choose! What school supplies will you jazz up this school year? We would LOVE to see what you come up with! Thanks for stopping by!
