Sunflower Canvas with Crafter’s Ink

by | March 21st, 2015 | 1

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a Mix’d Media Sunflower Canvas using ColorBox® Crafter’s Ink and Reinkers for Ann Butler.

To create the background, spritz the canvas with water and then place drops of Limelight, Tangelo and Sunshine reinkers on the canvas.

Tilt the canvas and continue spritzing the canvas until the panel is covered and you like the pattern.  Use a baby wipe to remove some of the color and then heat set the panel.

Stamp the flowers with Deep Woods Crafter’s Ink.  Pour Clear Embossing Powder over the entire canvas and heat set.

Stamp the flowers again on cardstock using Deep Woods Crafter’s Ink and emboss.  Fussy cut and ink with Limelight and Tangelo Crafter’s Inks using ColorBox® Art Daubers.

Create 3 dimensional flowers by rolling the petals and then adhering the flower petals and flower centers to the canvas.

Stamp a sentiment on cardstock using Deep Woods Crafter’s Ink and emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.  Add to the canvas with foam adhesives for dimension.  Stamp leaves using Deep Woods Crafter’s Ink and fussy cut.

Close up of the flowers.
