But first, let’s share a cool project: around the first of every month, we post an inspiration challenge here on our blog. Inspired fashion, trends, and a few inkpads, we build a collage to inspire you to create something during the month. This month’s challenge is all about rainbows:
Today Jennifer Priest is sharing how to create a gradient rainbow effect with a stencil and spray ink.
Jennifer says: “To create this card, I first lightly sprayed a ColorBox Creative Card with water. The water helps the ink be able to move and blend over top of the paper before soaking into the paper’s fibers. I laid a ColorBox Art Screen on top and sprayed 3 complimentary colors of ink onto the card front. I then used stencils and ColorBox Pigment ink to add “graffiti” to the card front, added a couple of strips of washi tape with a sentiment, and the card is done. Amazing that you can make a rainbow effect with just 3 colors of ink…”
