Hello! Tami Sanders here with June’s card sketch…

card sketch #12

And here is the sample card I made using the sketch…

chevron miss you card - clearsnap,rollagraph,colorbox,archival dye ink,dye ink,scrap card,scraps card,washi card,stamped card,tami sanders -wm

The strips were all made using the Jumbo Rollagraph® Self Inking Handle and Rollagraph® Jumbo Design Wheels loaded with Rollagraph® Jumbo Archival Dye Ink Cartridges.

I always have bits and pieces left over when I trim my stamped Rollagraph® designs down to size. So instead of tossing them, I thought I’d use them to make a card. You can adjust the number and size of strips you use to what you have on hand. You could also mix and match designs that make up the chevron pattern.

The sentiment strip was stamped using Mudside ColorBox® Archival Dye Ink.

I also have a bonus card and technique idea for you.

Check out this card…

I usually have scrap paper on hand when using the Rollagraph® as I like to give the wheel a test spin to make sure it is inked properly. While making the sample card, I ran each design on the scrap paper before rolling on my cardstock. I was about to toss the paper after I was done, but liked the layer, messy graphic pattern that I had accidentally made…

Why not put it to use as well!

Be sure you use the Memory Essentials® Stamping Guide when you use the Rollagraph® in order to keep your designs nice and straight. The Stamping Guide is raised to allow the Rollagraph® Design Wheels to roll along easily, and has gripper feet to keep it from slipping.

Here are the supplies used for these two cards…

Rollagraph® Jumbo Design Wheels: Say What?, Dogwood, Mixed Dots, Simple Dots and Floral Frenzy

Rollagraph® Jumbo Archival Dye Ink Cartridges: Fireberry, Pinkolicious, Glacier Lake, Grasshopper and Deep Grape

Stamps: MorePB&J2Stamp by The {Stamps} Of Life, Hampton Art: Doodle Bug: Flower Garden, cardstock from Bazzill, rhinestones from Bo Bunny and Zip Dry Glue from Beacon Adhesives.

About Tami Sanders

Ink, paper and glue are a few of my favorite things. I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, and don’t really have a set “style”; fresh, graphic or vintage, I like them all.  Likewise, I also find creating a variety of projects challenging. I design scrapbook pages, cards, mixed media projects, altered books, jewelry and more. I have taught scrapbooking and paper crafting classes locally as well as at regional and national conventions. Sharing the joy of inking and paper crafting feeds my creative soul. You can usually find me scouring estate sales and flea markets on the weekends hunting for unique tidbits and trinkets to use in my classes and for my projects. I'm excited to be rejoining the Clearsnap Design Team. I am fortunate to have worked with Clearsnap for over 10 years.
