Hello there – Sabrina here with you to share a project using the new Colorbox Blends by Eileen Hull. This gift bag is something I’ve been wanting to try out for awhile now and I am excited that the colors turned out as vibrantly as they did!
So here’s a little secret: as much as I love papercrafting, I always feel a little twinge of anxiety over gift wrapping. On one hand, I want the gifts to be presented as prettily as possible but on the other, I despise the idea of all that effort heading straight into the trash can as soon as it’s opened. It’s the same reason I don’t make a big deal over decorating baked goods or let my kids play games that take longer to set up than they do to play – Break the Ice for instance.
So a canvas gift bag that can be reused as a tote seems to be the perfect solution. I can add a gift (or two or three) inside and easily personalize the outside with my collection of stamps, stencils and Crafter’s Inks for whatever the occasion. Birthdays, baby showers, and thank you’s are covered – guilt free.
I’ve also created a video to go along with this bag – in it you’ll find more information about using the Colorbox Blends and how to set the ink so your project is waterproof.
How about you? Are you a fancy wrapper or a frugal wrapper like me?
