Hello! Tami here with my May Card Sketch…

card sketch #11

And here is the sample card I made using the sketch…

I stamped the designs on white cardstock using Wicked Black ColorBox® Archival Dye Ink and filled them in using ColorBox® Pigment Ink: Topaz for the peanut butter and peanuts, Violet for the jelly and grape bunch, Turtle for the stem, Moss Green for the peanut butter lid and Canary for the jelly jar lid.

The labels were stamped separately on kraft cardstock, cut out and adhered to the jars…

For the circle, I punched a 3 1/2″ scalloped circle from white cardstock, then punched holes around the scallops. Once the piece was glued down, I filled in the circles with a fine tipped black marker.

I selected cardstocks that were a pastel shade of the inks used.  A strip of washi tape separates the 2 – 1/2″ strips at the center of the card.

For a different look, try rounding the corners of the cardstock background pieces.

Stamps are from The {Stamps} Of LIfe: pb&j2enjoy and morepb&j2stamp, cardstock from Bazzill and Zip Dry Glue from Beacon Adhesives.

About Tami Sanders

Ink, paper and glue are a few of my favorite things. I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, and don’t really have a set “style”; fresh, graphic or vintage, I like them all.  Likewise, I also find creating a variety of projects challenging. I design scrapbook pages, cards, mixed media projects, altered books, jewelry and more. I have taught scrapbooking and paper crafting classes locally as well as at regional and national conventions. Sharing the joy of inking and paper crafting feeds my creative soul. You can usually find me scouring estate sales and flea markets on the weekends hunting for unique tidbits and trinkets to use in my classes and for my projects. I'm excited to be rejoining the Clearsnap Design Team. I am fortunate to have worked with Clearsnap for over 10 years.
