Today, we’re sharing a faux quilted fall “Quilted Havest Plaque” by Debbie Cole, CDA and an apron from blogger Tami Sanders:
I love using Colorbox® Crafters Inks on wood surfaces. They make it easy to create timeless treasures. It was so much fun to pair these inks with Ann Butlers quilting stamps to create this lovely quilted harvest plaque.
- Smooch® Spritz– Gold Glow and Platinum
- Colorbox® Crafters Inks– Bark, NEW! Tangelo, NEW! Limelight, and Fire
- Colorbox® Cleaning Pad
- Ann Butler EZ-De’s stamps
- Walnut Hallow 5 inch square
- Embossing Gun
- All purpose glue
- Matte Varnish
- Paint Brushes
Spray the entire plaque with Smooch® Spritz in Golden Glow. Heat set. Spray Smooch® Spritz in Platinum on palette paper and apply to sides of plaque with a paint brush. Stamp quilted squares around perimeter of plaque with the Colorbox® Crafter’s Inks in Bark, Tangelo, Limelight, and Fire. Add a circle in the center of the inner square and divide into sections to form the pumpkin. Add water to Colorbox® Crafter’s Inks inTangelo and wash the entire pumpkin. Shade with the same color. Reimburse shades with Colorbox® Crafter’s Inks Fire. Clean stamps with the Colorbox® Cleaning Pad . Add stitch lines with Bark using a liner brush. The stem is created in the same manner as the pumpkin with Bark. Allow to cure for 24 hours and apply mater varnish. Once dry add ribbon.
Have fun and create some timeless treasures like this Harvest Quilted Plaque by stamping on wood. Colorbox® Crafter’s Inks are the perfect ink for these projects. Vary the colors! Now that they have these lovely new colors, there will be a lovely pallet to match your home decor. Have a great time creating!
Hello! Hostess Tami here with an child’s size apron that I embellished using the new Ann Butler Designs ColorBox Crafter’s Inks…
The ColorBox Crafter’s Inkpads are SUPER juicy and the inks are SO creamy and SO blendable! And you can see from the photos how pretty and how vivid the new Ann Butler Designs collection is.
Canvas is textured and it can be hard to get complete coverage when inking it, but that is NOT a problem with ColorBox Crafter’s Inks.
ColorBox Crafter’s Inks are also permanent on most fabrics when heat set. Prewash, iron, ink, heat set with iron or dryer and you are ready to go!
